Sick and Tired
In other health news, I fell down or rather slipped down about 5 stairs last week. That's nothing new because I've slipped on these stairs before. The scarier part (other than slippin while I was pregnant) was slippin with the baby, baby in my arms. So to keep me from injuring us both I super injured myself. I jammed my dayum ring finger on my right hand, hurt my back, and left a HUGE bluish, purplely, greeny, bruise also on my right side of my thigh. The baby was fine but I wasn't. I didn't even think my azz could bruise like that. And here it is a week later and that sh*t look like Mike Tyson knocked the smack outta my leg. And did I mention that sh*t was swollen too? Ha! Sick and bruised. I took the bandages off my finger a few days ago to see if the swelling went down. I'm able to bend it if I do it slowly. *side note* [Ayana just walked into my lap lookin like she fell into a giant bowl of oatmeal *chuckle*] Hopefully I didn't mess up my finger too bad. I'm right handed and I use this hand the most. *sigh*
Other than that, there ain't much going on around here except the rain. I guess the rains have come finally. I think it's been raining all week. See there, it's been raining so much I can't remember WHEN that sh*t started. I don't think it's going away either. Dayum I never knew that September could be so cold. I don't like Washington, this state SUCKS! *chuckle to self*

I remember it all to well like it was yesterday. Last year we decided to put the kids in a home school performing arts class. It was late in the year when the cold season was just getting good and settled in an environment like that. (Environment, yes, I had to take my time with that word..lol) Anyway, the kids all got sick and brought it home to the two little ones. Joshy was just a couple of months old. Then D. got it which left me being the only one holding it down. They stayed sick for weeks. I couldn't get it out of my house. We had to end up taking the kids out of class until it was out of my house. What a nightmare!!
I hope you are healing up well because there is nothing like being sick, beaten up and having to take care of your babies in that condition. And, be careful of those stairs :) Wouldn't want that to happen again.

oooh girl i LOOOOOOVE that Ultimate Meal stuff. i mix mine with juice and fruit in the blender.
but that sh*t is 'spensive gurl. i ain't bought none in a long time but it kept me from starving for a while a few years ago. LOL
lawd have mercy. be careful with falling. don't wear socks or stockings on ANY floor, carpet or other. the ones with them lil gripper thangs on the bottom are okay on naked floors tho.
but damn. it must be "sistas taking a fall" time.
a few weeks ago i was sitting on the bar stool with my legs propped on the back of the couch.
now mind y'all that i NEVVER sit on the bar stools cuz i like the couch.
baby bliss decided to crawl on the floor under my legs and for some reason i thought my legs were gonna fall on her back so i tried to move my feet up higher.
well she bumped my legs right when i moved and my azz fell off the bar stool. i hit my back and the underside of my arm on the way to the floor.
i had a BIIIIIIIIG bruise under my arm for a while. and my back felt like a cow ran over it. i even had a bruise on my thigh and i don't even remember hitting it on the stool.
lesson learned: big booties and narrow rectangular bar stools just AIN'T a good match.
